Botanist | Character Design

I gave character designing another shot and this time I looked up some tutorials on yt to refresh myself on the basics of character design before throwing myself into it once again.

I have a lot of anxiety over creating characters and I’m not confident I’ll be able to draw this one again as it is now or in different angles but imma keep studying ᕦ(ò_óˇ)ᕤ

Here’s some info abt her!
She’s a botanist that studies plant-like creatures and many of these live in water hence the swimsuit she’s wearing!
She has knee pads for when she’s gathering plants on land.
Music plays a role in this story so I gave her a music box key that she wears around her neck. It seems to be important…
Lastly, her belt is shaped like the creatures she
studies. It’s part plant even though it has the head of a fish.Apr 6, 2023
