i've been holding back on this announcement until work starts again, but i'm almost certain this is what i want to do now, so a psa! commissions are officially closed 
focusing on my ocs here lately has given me a lot of joy! and not trying to constantly advertise or figure out what piece and what oc will be used for an updated example has just been...very nice. drawing what i really want to rather than what i have to basically! i feel like my kiddos are more alive than they have been in years, and i really want to keep up that momentum
will commissions open again in the future? yeah, i still definitely want to freelance! they might open again in a few years, maybe a few weeks, who knows! but for now, i just want to give all of my attention to one of my main sources of joy, and that's my characters <3
funny how an art goal of mine for this year was to get, at least, one commission and now i'm totally ignoring that goal LOL
