Anyone else only do one art thing at a time? :0
Ik a lot of ppl work on multiple drawings at once, but I’ve never been good at multitasking so…I just don’t.
For example rn I’m keeping a sketchbook so im unable to draw digitally unless I take a break from the sketchbook because both is too much.
I don’t do multiple drawings at once either I must focus on the one thing or I lose interest.
Is this something literally anyone else struggles with? ;~;May 22, 2022

I used to start a new drawing before I finished the current one and it resulted in a ton of unfinished sketches and zero progress. Now I'm trying to finish everything (or at least some crucial part, like lineart) before moving to the next work, if I don't finish something it's because I don't like where it's going and I don't see a point. If that happens, I'm writing down the idea and re-drawing it later

•For me, it really depends... I can multitask really well and I guess I need to blame that on my line of work so sometimes I'm forced to work on multiple pieces but oftentimes than not, I work on one art piece at the time

Same but for me it’s on a bigger scale.
I was working hard on digital art months ago, but then I found out about polymer clay and now I have zero attention on drawing and it’s all on clay

•I usually end up discarding it if I don’t like the sketch(unless it’s for something like a commission or contest entry) and go to one I like better

•Kinda. Like I can have different drawings going at the same time but that's more to not finishing a piece and then leaving it for 5 days rather than working on them together? I tend to only focus on one art piece or one art process at a time.

I cannot mentally nor physically draw multiple things at the same time. It's already difficult for me to stay still and finish a sketch because I always come up with so many things that I want to do and I end up giving up on my old projects lol. Being a slow artist doesn't really help neither
