Plum Blossom WarriorSorry, resubmitting the piece! Changed the composition bc it was bugging me
I've been meaning to make a fairy-people for my fantasy story, but I've struggled to find an angle to go for and all I had settled on was that I didn't want a conventionally human looking fairy- this Plant Knight challenge really helped me get the juices flowing! Made me think about bugs and flowers, and so, I present to you, Fei, a moth fairy warrior! :DDD she is ready to protect!!
As the title suggests, the armor is based on the plum blossom :3
Also, I liked the frame I made for my previous piece, so I threw it onto this as well lol
Notes:
These warriors magically conjure their weapons by using flowers and trees around them. Their magic is limited to plants, and it's difficult to aquire and requires a near impossibly deep understanding of, and respect for, the plant world- a two way relationship has to be established basically, after all plants are alive... but well, you can't exactly communicate with them through any conventional means lol. Only the best can ever hope to become a plum blossom warrior.
As the only bug-based people in this world they don't have spoken language, they mainly use body language and scents to communicate with each other. Some have learned sign language to communicate with mammalian humanoids.Mar 17, 2024
