Baby girl Hu Tao from Genshin ImpactCritique: I want to know if her hands and nails look ok since I focused more on them while drawing. Does its perspective looks ok? Does it seem anatomically acceptable? I don't mind receiving critiques about something else tho.
This took me such a long time to draw, I'm kinda proud of how I drew her hands and eyes I tried drawing some ghosts too but I couldn't make them look right, I think I'll post the original sketch and hide it from the galleryApr 24, 2021
YESSSS I LOVE HUTAO SOOOOO MUCH!! id say you could use some more highlights since you only have one in the nose and nowhere else! makes me wonder where that bit of light comes from but you did so well! hee hee hee
Omg this looks so good wthh! I honestly think the hands are really well done! That position is really hard to draw and I think you nailed it! I think one thing you could add though is some highlights to the hands and a bit on the face and hair. It seems that the light source is a bit below her so maybe like a shine on the bottom jaw and the maybe on the bottom eyelids? Thats really all I can say lol, this is absolutely stunning I love this smm :D
This looks really good! I love the posing and framing you for going on. From what it seems youβre going for a creepy feeling which is fun. To make it more creepy you can exaggerate her expressions a bit more, tilt her mouth, give her some sharp teeth, up her eyebrows a bit more, make her squint a little more etc... but tjaysjusy my opinion it works either way.
I think something you can do is up the contrast. Her eyes seem to be the brightest thing so I think if you made those brighter or even glow it can look really cool.
You also have a soft light coming from below, you can try pushing that even more kind of Like a flashlight below your face kinda look ( could also help with the spooky feelings )
The colours are nice but I think you can play around with the vibrancy. The shadow seems more on the grey or black side, maybe try a navy or purple. Same with the lighting, you can have cool shadows and then a warm light which can create some cool visual interest.
Lastly I could recommend playing with some sharper shadows and lights. I can see on the face you have a sharp shadow but everywhere else itβs mostly a gradient, apply some sharp shadows can give the character more form and interest. Same with any lighting, a mix of soft and sharp lighting.
Over all really great job, you did an epic job for the hands, and over proportions, that pose is not easy so good work!
