can't think of a better title, so excuse the lazy one ajdckskg

a warm-up that i got too carried away with! sorta - i realized that i've never drawn Kai in a fully rendered piece all by her lonesome before, and had to change that

so here we are!

some lore for the Kuro of Love because she's my most complex oc and i hardly talk about her ajxakfj: Kai's one of the oldest of her species, and though she initially loved her job, as she cared for generation after generation of humans, seeing how unappreciated her abilities became overtime though many still asked for her assistance, Kai kinda just grew,,,tired of it all, hence her typical intimidating appearance. she has no ill will towards the Kuro, nor towards humans, so she can't be considered a Reform, therefore she's just floating; still wanting to help humanity and yet wants to quit a job she can't quit. so when Kai finds Emi attempting to persuade her to join bat mom's ploy, she takes the bait - hoping to find an end to her misery, and adding a bit of spice to her routine

i think i found a faster way to color and i'm so happy guys

this should cut the time it takes for me to finish a piece in (almost) half without hurting my hands in the process!!!! screams of joy!!!!Jan 23, 2024
