10 YEARS OF PEACH!!

Back in the dark age that was 2016, I created this random dude who would lead me down multiple paths that made me who I am today. „I created him“ isn‘t even the right way to phrase it I suppose, my brain spat him out in a fever dream I had and I thought „I wanna make an OC out of this guy, I like his hair“. I haven‘t really been an artist drawing humans back in the day, nor was I really interested in drawing them (I had human OCs, but they were for written works only) - but the rage of not being able to draw him like he was looking in my dream fueled me to get better at drawing them. And then came the lore. And with that a whole universe that has literally hundreds of human OCs living in it by now and has become my main source of joy. Non of the OCs I plague y‘all with on the daily would exist without him. And probably I wouldn‘t either, at least not in the form I do in today. I have a whole flowchart of things, that happened to me and drastically improved my life, that can directly be traced to things I only did to research for expanding the bits of lore he had in that dream. It was a whole butterfly effect that led me to (re)discover things about myself, made me pick up hobbies I had either abandoned long ago or wanted to start since ages and through those, I also made friends I wouldn‘t have met otherwise. So, if you got to know me after 2016, you can thank him. Or despise him, depending on how much I piss you off <3

And this is why it‘s important to get good enough sleep that’ll give you those sweet dreams!

[I had so many ideas of how I could celebrate his creation day this year, but I barely found the time or strength to do any of them :‘) So, have a little illustration with him and my sonas Dorti (who I used at the time of Peach‘s creation) and Rough (who I created a year later and has been the closest thing to a true sona I could have ever since). At least a bit more of a „special“ thing, compared to the cheap doodles I did the previous years. Also remembered I can just use the rest of the year to celebrate with the stuff I originally planned, so stay tuned ]
