digital artists help😭

how do u do that thing u see in digital art tiktoks/reels where the brush basically reveals the final product? like instead of erasing the canvas, you're revealing the artwork. in procreate iirc, it's called the undo brush? main question is how do u do that in krita? ;-;

Solid colored layer on top that you erase
there’s no such thing as an undo brush in procreate, and the easiest way to do that on any program would just be putting a white layer on top of the finished piece and erasing that
I’m pretty sure you just have your finished piece below a layer colored white with a sketch on it.

I think you then zoom in on certain parts of the piece & erase that upper layer to reveal the finished art underneath!

That would make the most sense to me! I hope this helps!
Put your finished artwork below of a white bg sketch layer! You just need to erase the sketch layer
i dont know what krita is but im pretty sure u have to have:

- finished drawing
- white layer on top of finished drawing
- duplicate sketch layer (so you dont lose your original sketch by accident)
- put the duplicated sketch on top of white layer
- merge the duplicated sketch and white layer together so you can erase both at the same time
- use eraser tool to erase the layer

you can do this on any program as long as the program has layers :D
2 layers, one is the sketch, the other is the final piece masked out and I just go over the mask with a white brush :D
idk if this is what u mean and i’ve never heard of an undo brush but what i usually do is i make a layer over the drawing and erase that? 😕 like a white layer over the top of the drawing layers and then just rub that away to reveal the drawing?
