Story Lore challenge 9: a mode of transportation
So I mentioned Okaro has some magic stones in my magic system post, and one of those are specifically for transportation. He just refer to it as ‘reisesteinen’ (the travel stone) a bit of a lame name when I think about it, at least in Norwegian xD
You would also need trollstøv sometimes to cast transportation spells not just a magic stone like that, depending on how far you’re going or how strong your magic is. There’s also portals but they’re actually forbidden because ypu would have to use dark magic to make them, wich is also forbidden
Other forms of transportation that aren’t magic would maybe be horses but in this story we mostly follow the elves and they don’t leave their village much and keep to themselves, so most travel is done by foot actually besides the times they use magic and that’s only if they have someone like Okaro with them (talking about the main characters here)
