Nah but life in itself is stressful so sometimes it pays off to push past the stress

No.
Stress effects your health, and that's the most important thing no matter what.

Stress is a common thing in everyday life but it's something that should never be a constant. It being constant can build up and become detrimental to your health.l and your career.
Constant stress indicates that you need stop whatever you're doing cause you're are not being optimal nor efficient with your time, your performance, and you yourself.
You don't overwork a machine when it's under stress, so why do that yourself. You need time to pause every once in a while to reflect and tune. If not, ya might break and may never recover or reap any benefits from your success.

A moderate level of stress is good for us as it helps us to pay attention to our surroundings and focus on our tasks.
Life will throw lots of stresses at you constantly, especially if you want to be successful. Managing that stress is the key to staying on top and feeling confident that your mental resilience won't crumble at the smallest thing.
However, high levels of stress constantly turns into chronic stress, which is bad for your physical and mental health. Your mind is precious and shouldn't be compromised for a goal that hurts you long term.

It depends on how you deal with stress, if it's unhealthy stress and if you are able to take breaks. And what you want to do with your life. It's rather rare that one has only one goal in life. If you're are stressed out with a successful career how can you build a good relationship with someone and have a happy family (for example)?
In my opinion life matters as a whole. It can be beneficial to go through a phase with a lot of stress. But not if it goes against a life that makes you happy and keeps you healthy almost all the time. Constant stress isn't worth it. It turns success into a hollow feeling.
