I've never met anyone famous but my friend met Samantha Shannon, author the priory of the orange tree, at a book signing in Singapore. I was insanely jealous because the book signing was completely free and literally all you had to do was be there

not exactly a celebrity, but an infamous figure here in Singapore.
It was a dude by the name of Amos Yee who made controversial youtube videos that are often politically charged.
He is well known for opening one specific video upon the passing of a political figure with a distasteful yet celebratory “[politician] is dead; finally!”. Said phrase has been memed to death.
I met him at what is now renamed SG Comic Con roughly 7 years ago? I cosplayed Altaïr with a number of other AC cosers and he happened to be there and asked if he could have a photo with us (not all of us wanted to for good reason, it was like 3 from a group of like 5-7 Assassins lol)
I still have said picture, rarely and cautiously showing it around as a weird flex.
Actually used to think he was based before whatever happened some time back; google at your own risk.
