i really had the urge to make a fake anime screenshot back in february, but also wanted it to be lore and/or plot related, so it took me a minute to figure something out, but i finally got it
this was suuuuuper fun though!! i tried to see my art through an animator's perspective, if my style were to ever be turned into an anime, so it was really cool trying to figure out how to simplify my style! i found some pretty colors to experiment with 
and i'm becoming a bit more confident drawing backgrounds

uuuuh, it's tough to explain what's happening here without spoiling anything, but after an incident
occurs, clouds in their universe (named Palace, more at 11) suddenly begin to rain waterfalls, one cloud per character (so about 13), and in order to resolve said incident, each oc has to overcome whatever their respective waterfall is asking them to. in Della's case, hers is requiring her to dive back into her past, something that still haunts her to this day, and if anyone remembers me very briefly mentioning Nizhoni having a connection to Della and Miza in her sketchpage, they're apart of Della's past too 
but that's all you guys are getting, that was a lot already-
my plan is to fully render this piece, since i really like how the background turned out, and would love to be able to compare the two versions, but yeah, we'll see about that skdcckf also, here's a cookie for reading this far while i run away
