DTIYS Entry X – "Cupid's Habit" 
"Oops, I did it again I guess..." 
WARNING! Too hot for your own risk (pfft, /j). Anyway, here's my fourth entry, this time for @sumweirdo's DTIYS with her pretty OC, Cupid! Dang, already two months have passed and yet I was only able to draw this recently. I did say on one of the other entries that I might go for this too, so yeah, I really did!
Hope some of the details and little changes are okay (I tend to go overboard so if not, please PLEASE bonk me AAA--) Also, I drew this with a sleep–deprived mind which often forgot to glance at the reference whenever I got too focused, so yeah: I added lots of frills as well as the gloves and stockings here (although my initial plan was to make it the strap–kind, it was too hard for me when I tried it out.) Aside from that, I also had to do the long hair which is... ugh (good thing I remembered to put strands there tho.) Add to it the holographic fabric; that's still too complex for me that I just semi–gave up at some point...
For the pose, I actually had two other ideas in mind before this one, but both of them were just too difficult. Additionally, I originally planned to put broken arrows stuck on the ground, but then gave up on that idea too. Accidentally, I did came up with the hands idea while I was mindlessly sketching on the bg. It's quite simple and minimalistic, but it did convey the same metaphor that I was going for (also, I got an excuse to draw gold so--)
Anyway, how is it? I really enjoyed drawing this (especially with a Doja Cat x Melanie Martinez playlist blasting through my earphones, hehe.) So excited to do the remaining pieces on my pending list. But first, imma rest my poor wrist...
