Red String Embroidery "On the season when we first met, let us weave the red string that connects us together..."
I forgot to post it yesterday, lol.
Here's another illustration from yours truly. At first, this was supposed to be spring–themed, but I gave up on the idea since I found drawing a bouquet to be too tedious. Instead, I opted for an embroidery thing, which worked well for me since I do have to practice my fabrics.
For this artwork, I decided to make it a bit softer than what I usually do (if you notice its counterpart from valentines, that one was a bit sharper and vivid, I think?) I also thinned my shadows (at least on the clothes, hshs) while adding subtle gradients, and I guess I'm getting used to that method now (not entirely used to it tho, because that fabric on the hoop took me SOOO LONG to put shadows on as well as adjust the opacity for each of it). On the bright side, MY FLOWER GAME IS GOING STRONK YASSS-- erm yeah.
Anyway, I think I did pretty well for this one. I'm really happy with my improvements so far. And for all the people who have continuously supported me on this journey, thank you very much!!
