DTIYS Entry VII – "The Witch" 
GREETINGS, O' WONDERFUL HOOMANS!! It's that time of the year again-- of me joining various DTIYS for an entire month, reee--!! Started this a year ago, and I've always wanted to make it an annual thing. So, in spite of having a busy schedule rn, I decided to just go for it. And to start it all off, here's my first entry featuring @alisterfox's DTIYS Challenge!! 
Btw, notice something off? Yes, yes, I know. It's shameful of me to admit but... I didn't draw the cat. I DIDN'T DRAW THE CAT, AAAA-- ugh. I just can't. No matter how much I tried to sketch it out, nothing just seemed to work. And since I don't have enough time to spare rn, I made the hard decision to just finish it like this (so to artist–san, I'm really really sorry...)
Anyway, the good news here is: I'm really getting used to using dip pen (soft) for my lineart, which made it cleaner and less sharp compared to my previous works. Not sure about the shadows on the fabric, but I'm satisfied with the outcome for the rest. Also, I modified some of the details while retaining the main ones from the original. Kinda funny how the gems turned out looking like an egg yolk (was I starving when I drew this part or something...?) but it's cute, I guess. Had a hard time drawing the hands too, but it also worked out well in the end.
Overall, I'm pretty happy with the results. On my previous DTIYS submissions, I tend to use too much new techniques, which made each of my works look a bit distinct from each other. So ig I'll also tone that down this time and chill, haha!
P.S. I literally forgot to explain my main goal slash personal challenge here, pfft. Basically, I tried to draw a side view angle for this entry. If you've noticed from my other works, I rarely do this so it's a great opportunity to try it and receive good results!!
