2022 | Baby Burns | Finishing Projects
Hello, my lovely frog buddies.I am happy to inform you that I am finally making process! ˗ˏˋ ♡ ˎˊ˗
This is my latest piece I finished - the meaning behind it is about acknowledging (seeing) the pain humans can be in. Not looking away can save lives and recognising the pain of victims can help to overcome traumatic events.
Anyway I decided that short-term goal is to complete one piece at a time. I began to feel as if I wasn't taking this art show vision seriously because of all the ongoing (unfinished) projects & canvases. ʚ
ɞ Furthermore, it wasn't how I wanted it to be and it was more an act of fear. And I've lately discovered that growing and developing self-confidence also depend greatly on finishing what you start, whether or not it's related to art. 𓆏 Aka I'm tired of never reaching the end stage! Why I won't work on any new canvases until the current one is finished!
Do you sometimes struggle with finishing what you started? What helps you? ◡̈
I still work on with other mediums inbetween but with different goals and energy! More about this in my next post.

I juggle various different projects, that way I can switch to wichever feels right that day. As for stuff with a deadline, I try to pick at least a twist or way of execution that gets me really motivated or interested and try to get it through as fast as possible. Riding that flow~

•I mean honestly just pushing through it.
I often trow stuff away but if I don’t I either
1 am in a really deep focus and just finish because me and my work just harmonise at that moment or
2 I really pushed it, like forcing it, cause I had some reason for it to be done.
On the other hand I often try to… “not care” anymore. Like… “I won’t post this anyways” “who cares?” “It can be ugly”. Fake it till you believe in it hahaha.
Doesn’t always work but sometimes
