The only rule I have is that you can’t trace. Other than that, you don’t have to draw my character in a chibi style, and you can draw in any pose you like. At the end of the challenge, I will award three artists a free drawing illustration . Relax and be creative ☺️ The challenge will end on October 30

Striped Headband

A quick DTIYS entry because I've felt overwhelmed to tackle the other design challenges I told people I'd participate in.

What attracted me to @lavonneart 's DTIYS was the cuteness and simplicity of the design. I thought it'd be fun to try something small.

Any feedback on the hair is appreciated.
I didn't even look at a reference for the water and it still came out decent, but I can't find the same confidence in the hair.

the hair looks fine to me,, i really like how you did the highlights! it might be the balance between the bangs and the back of the head that are throwing you off- the top of the head is much more detailed in shading :0

Sorry I deleted my first comment by mistake. Anyway, I love your art style. It’s has a very simple and cute color style . I’m not very good at criticizing but I love the hair. I also struggle a bit at human anatomy.
