Im not an expert at Greek mythology but Apollo is such an interesting god because he presides over SO many things; medicine, poetry, archery, disease, light and the Sun & MORE! He's also another interesting case of "God ofx" vs the personification of the thing they are the god of. Like Helios is the personification of the sun. Apollo is the GOD of the Sun. It's similar but also different to how Hades is God of the Dead and Thanatos is the personification and God of Death. I wonder.Nov 26, 2024
