OCtober #16 RedrawLars Oliver playing his guitar

So many old artworks i wanna redraw lol but ended up with this from 2010 or 2011; the one on top right, others just to show more old art of this character.
Heās from one of many unfinished stories i started then. And not sure if the top one is from 2010 or ā11 and maybe the ballpoint-pen one is from 2012 but idk
I even ghost-wrote a song for this story and thatās the one I drew him performing in my old art, like it was gonna be a song Lars Oliver (or Blue from another story of mine) wrote. Not gonna show the lyrics sorry not sorry XD But he would write it to Alex, the main character heās the love interest of, and think he was gonna give it to her in a birthday scene later but never got to write that part
So in another story from around the same time thereās a main character named Blue and he was kinda the same exact character as Lars Oliver but in a different font loll both play several instruments, write songs, and is the love interest (although Blue was also the main character but it was like split pov so both ml and fl had povs through that story, i even rewrote some chapters from each pov
who wanna read the same stuff twice?) Blue also had a band with his siblings, and that story was more developed I think, but think I drew the characters from this one more; Thereās like a friendgroup of ten people in this story..
I have like three chapters of this, not a lot. And this story has no plot whatsoever just kinda random scenes happening one after the other very slice-of-life like actually (some context but a bit random stuff no real plot happening nor planned out except the birthday party i didnāt get to write, but they talk about it)
And this story never had a title, but this girl Alex is the main character, sheās a triplet but adopted? Like her siblings are bio triplets where one of them died while her mum died in childbirth as well so the parents who lost a triplet adopted this other baby born at the same time who lost her mother (and i guess other family was out of the picture???) dont ask me if it makes senseā¦.. like why not just have triplets.. why does the main character have to be not a bio sibling/"real " triplet but adopted?? Itās the most wattpad logic ever?? and i didnt even know what wattpad was back then.
Anyway, Lars Oliver is one of several childhood friends, and the endgame love interest, there were like two other love interests, I would go into a whole rant if i talk about those characters so I wonāt
my old writing is just really cringy and some stuff in this story is just yikesā¦
Anyway, I quite like how this oneturned out although it was not the plan to do kinda black&white stuff but I started doing cross hatching and hated it so just covered it up by colouring his hair and trousers black so ended up with trying to colour other parts too just more grey (I used a brush pen thatās running out for all of it, I like to use it to get a lighter black or grey bc I have no waterbased greys actually)Oct 16, 2024
