Another King drawing to post as a way to avoid finishing that double life poster

I finished this drawing a bit ago, and I just remembered it exists. Y'all notice how I don't have a fucking style. I made this right after I heard the song "Dear God" by XTC. I said before, but King is a Christian in the story. His beliefs though, are more similar to Jehovah Witnesses. I chose the lyrics in the title because Witness don't believe in hell, and they don't believe that most people go to heaven. Only a select few do ( 144,000 ), and the rest get resurrected onto earth to rebuild it into a paradise. Those who turned away from God, or when they got resurrected if they chose Lucifer, die. They don't go to hell, or suffer, they simply cease to exist. King,,,, does not think at all he's going to paradise, knows damn well they ain't going to heaven. They fully expect to just fuckin die.

Their relationship with religion is strange. They love their God but he does so many things knowingly that even a non religious person would see as hateful and disgusting, but he doesn't know how to change. That's why I chose the song. Also, the apostrophe after God is intentional, if you know you know.


I have I think one (??) more drawing that I've already finished so I'll post that soon. I wanna draw some more fanart for some folks on here, maybe drawing some of the cats from that challenge I just did, idk.
