Washi tapeBtw there were no prompts for this week and also i’ve just been a bit busy and sick
But here’s the only thing i’ve made outside oc-tober recently. Started the sketch in July and just got around to add the washitape yesterday, I wasn’t sure wether I should colour it in or not, to cover the markers bleeding through but probably will just leave it like this, also idk if the bits and pieces around her look bad i just stuck the tape i cut off on the page too and ended up like this xD
Also not sure i was able to follow my sketch after adding the tape, some of it doesn’t look right as in the lines and folders on the shirt and the outline of it but ocerall i’m happy with this i think?
Been wanting to do something like this again for YEARS and i’ve even "moved" the idea pages ahead in my sketchbook multiple times; meaning i planned on using a page for that but ended up doing something else instead on the intended page - I think by this point i’ve ‘saved’ a page by writing washi tape on it like five-six times in the same sketchbook but then just gone ahead using it for somethibg else and then writing it on a new page further into the sketchbook (i try to use pages where the backside isn’t that important when i know i’ll cut on it and it might show through, or when using alcohol markers but when I did the marker stuff i forgot about the sketch on this page so kinda the opposite happened? Idk if that makes sense for anyone else than me
)
