Froggo - OC comment challengeI made a frog, it was fun
I wasn't entirely sure what to do with him because I had a few ideas, though until I actually sit down to draw they're always fairly basic. I thought of making him really tiny and cute in a REALLY oversized shirt so he'd be more like a mascot/baby and it would be funny or going the other way around and making him really buff and massive for the joke, just cause how little that fits with the outfit. I thought of what he could do or who he could be and had some crazy ideas like a yoga or aerobics instructors, a wallclimber, a jeweller and some similar jobs. Either way, once I got away from the intentionally funny designs I felt like he would end up doing something passionate and creative.
Here we are now - my Froggo (unnamed as of yet but I might just keep his name as froggo) is a very socially awkward painter. He's fragile so he can't do any physical jobs and because he's poisonous he also can't do any social jobs. But with his immense soul there's no better job than an artist. And what better pose for him to do than the trademark awkward wave (also it's easy lol)
I also included some funnies here and there while I was at it cause I felt like leaving things plain was just boring
Also, not to brag, but I'm very proud of just having come back from my drawing break and making this whole piece from scratch
in like 3 hours. I thought I had fallen out of shape but it seems like I might be doing wven better than before. It felt good to draw something I never would have otherwise too.
Anyway, enough of my rambling. This was a really fun challenge to do and I'm happy to be back. Thanks everyone who helped create the propmt for me!Apr 14, 2024
