"LEAVE!" - I hissed to myself

πŸ’ͺπŸ»πŸ‘ β—‘ πŸ‘πŸ’ͺ🏻 Lately I rly pressure myself a lot with the fact that my art basically has no goal or meaning.

It's literally "trash" - (I am not saying it's bad) - it feels meaningless sometimes, even though it's not? Can anyone relate?

Like I want to have a concept, a goal with my art, mby a message and even a style.. But there is not. Just chaos, randomly expressions my feelings or whatever, many mixed materials and styles.

Rn I wish the chaos to #LEAVE!

Me not messy- just It's hard to set a clear goal when so much is going on in my life an head.

For art I never had a clear goal. Just cannot decide, I love so many different directions. 🌊

What do you think?

I mean I’m trying to teach myself to draw for fun lately but art with β€œmeaning” can be more personal

It makes sense and I've definitely felt the same. I don't have any advice though, sorry.

@nonbinaryartist (≑^βˆ‡^≑) first of all, thankful for your sincere answer and

2nd of all it didn't brother me the last 7 years, I just did whatever seemed fun to me. I am still having fun
-but I thought if I want to actually do art professional- or if I want to achieve more, I need more system / clearness or meaning behind my art.

Without that I won't give people much reason to come back to me/ my art :$

the 7 past years didn't helped me with making some decision regarding my style ( it even got worse because there are so many different things that are fascinating in art to me ). - so I thought mby it would help if I choose temporary topics for example every 4 weeks ..

Then it could start to have at least a concept with some sort of consistency - just wonder if that's not too boring for others XD...
