Emotions Challenge

Hello Everyone, This is MISSY. Today I present to you my first challenge: The Emotions Challenge! Simply draw your OC with the four different emotions – Neutral, Happy, Sad and Angry. You can use this image as a base for your OC but please credit me @missytheartist ♡ There's no deadline, rules or prizes for this challenge, it's just for fun and might be helpful for young artists who want to practice drawing emotions. OrionFun and simple challenge but I still struggled, basically still in a bit of an art slump…

Just trying to get back into my drawing mood with this but yeah the sketches turned out awful and I kept erasing and redrawing for hours, and then I left it for some days before trying again, looked a bit better but still didn’t like it much but I just went ahead and tried to finish it anyway; I don’t hate how it looks now that I coloured and stuff but don’t like it either

also all my pens are dying so the lineart looks weird, also these highlighters I bought right before christmas are already getting messed up, basically the tips are getting ruined bc the caps or something? But they were extremely cheap so whatever

I really like your artstyle! The character design is really nice and I like how you've used the highlighters to show texture and patterns in the clothes and hair!
Don't be too hard on yourself, as long as you enjoyed the challenge and learned something from it, that's the best way to improve. You're very talented!
