I would definitely follow you if I had Instagram, but I unfortunately do not 
I heard Pinterest actually has a really good algorithm, and many artists use it to upload their work (^.^)

I mean it's really your choice, but I don't think anyone should really use Instagram. From experience and from others I know Instagram isn't very good for artists and the community is not very engaging. But if you want you should but I just wouldn't recommend it :[
