Come to MePeople seemed to like the loose brush work in my previous piece, so I decided to try it again.
The burn filter made Shroom 100 times scarier by ramping up the contrast. The eyes remind me of the possessed snail from Adventure Time.
I enjoy painting little things like this. They make me happy in a way I can't express. It's satisfying to pick a simple subject and do your best to portray it. (I can't believe I'm getting sentimental about a mushroom painting
