OCtober #7 TraumaMy old oc Leolyn (from an unfinished story)
Anatomy is hard… this looks so wonky especially when i flip it (used like five dif refs and none with the same angle nor the one i wanted so was hard to make it look right?) also very lazy/low-effort sketching and also ran outta space on top.. all these prompts are on a smaller scale than I usually draw bc i’m just dividing the sketchbook pages into half for these basically
Wasn’t sure how grafic i wanted to make this, was very tempted to make some more gory art at first but that would probably take longer and i started this sketch like two hours ago (stopped to eat dinner and stuff then continued drawing so just finished) so went a bit simpler route and just implied injury with some blood seeping through tho but bandaged it up instead of showing the actual wounds, but yeah his wings are gone for those that don’t know this character well enough he’s part fairy and has wings but they get ripped out after he’s already been tortured in other ways
So also, went with a bit more physical trauma for this prompt but he has a lot of emotional trauma too

And again, an old character and story of mine, I probably wrote on the one with Leolyn as main character mostly in 2014 but it’s kind of the sequel to another one where he’s just a baby and ‘side character’ i guess or less than a side character but he’s there.. as a literal baby, and wrote that in 2011? Never finished any of them but wrote a lot more for the ‘sequel’ where he’s older and the focus is more on his story and him as the mc
Anywayyy old story i think of once in a while but dont actively work on anymore, I just like to draw him and like his design :) (his different appearances) kinda miss the characters too even tho they’re literally so underdeveloped and boring– I just miss the side characters that appear more in the first one i wrote in 2010-2011 but also has a role still in the sequel thing and has some paragraphs written in their pov (like when they rescue Leolyn and Naya after their wings are stolen; look at the linked art for some more context? I’m jsut referring to scenes only i know.. never shared anywhere so sorry it’s so random and doesn’t make sense)
Probably some of the characters i share more about that fit this prompt but since i’m focusing on older ocs overall I decided to draw Leolyn, and actually i ahve shared about him here several times since 2021 but mostly for oc-tober stuff (also contemplated Eld and Okaro for this one, as mentioned in previous post they both fit a lot those kinda prompts)
Was busy this weekend but fit with the prompts i wanted to do less xD just hope i can do the ones i really want and still post them on the right days but we’ll see bc i’m going away this weekend too
