Breaker vs. YakoTaking a break from stickers to showcase an artwork I made back in May of last year! 
I meant to post this with a commentary/speedpaint video (I know, it's been a while
). But I've been taking SO long with it that I decided, why not post at least the end result? One day, I will go about to finishing it. Just that my brilliant mind decided to add a bit of animation/stills in the video. On top that I've been juggling between my day job and the art business. I simply hadn't the time to continue. But one day it will be published!
Anyway, this is the beginning of a fight scene between Breaker (Eli— who belong to my friend WalingNights in Iwaku) and Yako (Hanami, who belong to moi). This is their very first encounter and each other's debut. The story actually starts with him causing chaos to challenge the League... and gaining the upper hand. He has a two-powers-in-one ability where he can control metal telephatically and channel electricity. Which makes Breaker a very powerful opponent. But when things have begun to seem like it was victory for him, she appears: a girl with two katanas. Unlike the other League members, he has never seen this one before. She's small, unmoving yet does not seem very impressive. Only that she has two swords. She has her hand on one of them. Its energy is strange. Odd... But no matter. Getting rid of her should be a piece of cake, right?

This scene is canon; he is channeling all his energy to kill her. Little does he know she has her own tricks in her gauntlets (I would say sleeves, but she has none.) I had a lot of fun doing this piece. The perspective was a doozy, but I'm quite happy with how it came out. Also, just in case, he wears a mask. :oMar 10, 2026

I love how creepy his mask looks! He could definitely deal a lot of damage with all of that jagged metal and electricity. But I have a feeling our girl isn't going to suffer any of his crap
