BoundAnother one I had trouble titling. But I got really inspired by @meyule_art 's fanart of Hanami ('cause I liked it that much) that I decided to make a fanart of my own fanart... in a way. 
Also, to tell you the truth, this sort of image has been stuck in my mind for a while. Many hands just grabbing at her, tormenting. Feeling suffocating just as she is maintaining her peace. That is how it feels to be bound by her own powers.

Aka Manto, specifically Necromancy, generally takes a major psychological toll on whoever possesses it. The sword makes users commit atrocities onto others or themselves. Her mother fell to its influence and fed it as many souls as she could. Now for Hanami, she can feel the victims' pain and rage frequently. The sword also speaks to her, spreading poisonous words into her mind. It's a heavy burden to bear.
Luckily, Hanami is more strong-willed than Reina— though, that is not to say she was an easy victim. Just her daughter has been a firsthand witness to what Aka Manto is capable of and tries better to weather away the storm. However, that is not to say she doesn't have her moments of weakness. Hanami has no qualms hurting villains with the sword when provoked (like Eli). But, she would rather feed her own blood to it than to use her sword against someone who's innocent. The idea absolutely repulses her. So even though she carries Aka Manto with her at all times, she tries not to unsheathe it to avoid its aftereffects. Notwithstanding, it continues to haunt her one way or another. On top of that, it makes her physically sick. So while she's an ideal heroine, she is not deployed on a near daily basis until everything is under control.May 21, 2026
