Masquarade ball AUFinished this prompt finally, just a month later lol but i did submit the sketch back when it was still oc-tober
also purely coincidental that i got back to and finished it today but this prompt was in fact for the 18th xD hahah
Sela and Alainn from my wip novel with no title yet; but arguably one of the ones i’ve written most stuff for except that it’s all random paragraphs happening before/after a time skip that would take place somewhere in the story; so no actual chapters except maybe two-three half-written ones.
Anyway, finally got to finish this, and kinda happy with how it looks but also don’t really like it either
I kinda wanna redraw it in a more rendered way. Maybe I will but make it a scene in the actual story instead, bc there is a ball kinda thing that happens in one of those random events i’ve written, but it’s not a masquarade thing.
I did have fun with this, but I did everythibg very carelessly, like I just wanted it to be finished already so rushed through everything. Was not sure i wanted to show Alainn’s eyes or not but ended up adding them in when doing the lineart after all. I don’t like how i did the blue around his eyes tho :|
Also Sela’s dress.. was supposed to be this transparent veil thing over her shoulders but yea did not work out..Nov 18, 2024
