Ahhh I am so angry
and I am almost NEVER angry. Grrr!
Anyway my grandpa had/has?! a phone contract with this shitty company called primacall (not prima at all).. And basically he already cancelled the contract in summer 2022 and he said he got the cancelation paper but doesn't know where they are rn... And this company keeps sending bills and now even exhortations after my grandpa ask the bank to finally block the transfers...
So my dad called the company too and told them they should stop that.. But it continued and I cannot reach them at all so I wrote an email after I went down a rabbit hole of over 10 years of harassment, bad experience other people made and scam of/ with this company that is publicly well known and they really use advantage of their elderly customers and do that with MANY people. It makes me so upset and apparently it's shitty but not illegal...
Like they intentionally make it hard,not transparent and make the contract last at least 6 month longer even though u don't use their service not anymore at all....Jan 17, 2023

(Disrespectfully) I hope people who make those companies get struck by lighting. You gotta be the lowest of scum to scam the elderly. Imagine intentionally screwing over people literally living their last years.

Do you have something like the Verbraucherzentrale we have in Germany? They can help with stuff like this. If a lot of people report companies they start to show them repurcussions.
Plus I would if you have use the Rechtsschutzversicherung to threaten them with consequences.

Ugh! This was frustrating to read because I went through a similar situation here with a phone company. They do this in order to scam their clients and they have no respect with them, not caring at all that clients have a negative perception of them. The worst part is that this practice is completely legal in my country (Chile)
So sorry you all had to deal with this, I totally understand the anger this scamming can cause. Hope you can find a solution, this is so unacceptable.
