OCtober #3-4 older oc & redesignMy old oc Curdin
Oh how i wish we had multiple slides here, anyway threw together some of my older art with this anyway, hope u dont mind having to zoom in… Decided to do two prompts in one bc i wanna do the 4th of a different prompt list but also wanna do the redesign one, so since it fits with the old oc prompt (who else to redesign than older ocs?) i’m just slapping them together xD
Just rough sketch stuff for this i guess, or I didnt even erase any of the sketch before doing very lazy lineart and colour so just a quick doodle page for this one
Spent such a long time deciding who to draw for this.. probably other ocs that need redesigns more but got a bit overwhelmed with the many options when sorting old oc art into collections in my phone’s gallery – I have sooo many ocs/character designs i never use (but wanna try focusing on old ocs for oc-tober) so jsut went with my first thought that was Curdin, bc i always struggle with his hair
but it’s not like i changed a lot here… although he never looks the same,, but idk redesign or just the 3rd prompt ¯\(ツ)/¯ it’s maybe more of a redraw idk, will probably get back to do some bigger changes in redesigning some old ocs later bc feel like i need to work out the characters and setting more for some of them and didnt have time to do that here (even if i maybe should, i have no idea what’s the story/reason behind his fire powers)
Anyway, I first made Curdin back in 2016-2017? The art i included here of the old stuff is from 2016? ,2017, and early this year. I have more art of him mostly from 2018-2019 but some from 2021 for oc-tober too
Dont ask me abt his name bc i have no idea why I ended up with Curdin and also called him Curri or Curry sometimes XDOct 3, 2024
