Little AsraAsra spent the majority of their life on a remote private island, in a colossal clockwork tower that belonged to Lord Gideon Decarabia, a tiefling nobleman. He bought them at an underground auction when the pleasure house where they were born was shut down due to a political scandal; Lord Decarabia was a handsome and refined man but he had little love for parties and politics, and was deeply invested in magic, alchemy, nature, and history: the tower, filled with book and tools and trinkets, was his safe place, far from the chit-chat and the gossip of the city. To him, Asra was first a servant, then an assistant, and finally an apprentice. Asra was a smart and avid learner, they absorbed every bit of knowledge and put it to the best use, making his master feel proud, understood, and certainly less lonely.Feb 3, 2022
