Update for the re-coming-out thing (posted a meme on my ig story to announce I identify with a different label now), I mainly did that for one specific friend who sent me pride pins with a sexuality I don't identify with anymore for christmas, and they DIDN'T EVEN SEE THE STORY

Then maybe ask where they got the pins since you are thinking about getting some that match with how you are identifying now?
Should still be a subtle enough way of telling them that you now identify with a different sexuality and also letting them know that you liked the pins they got for you. Even if you don’t end up buying something there.
