Happy Belated Birthday PKAnother belated birthday painting because ive lost control of my life @.@ Happy Birthday PK (4/19)!
I curse the day I decided his image color was red, because its hard to do cute backgrounds with it. I went a little heavier with the water with this more maroon red and then added a teensy bit of pink to soften it. I think it worked out? Also, damn i have issues with head on poses cuz eye symmetry is hard for me XD I need to go back to my standard 3/4 turn XD.
Date theme with PK: since he’s the son of a baker and bakery owner, he’s made a strawberry cream cake. His decorating skills aren’t as good as his mother’s or older sisters Holly and Marigold’s, but they’re pretty solid nonetheless (his breadmaking and fruit sando skills are too notch). I like to think maybe he’s making something for Doc to enjoy
Its been about a year and despite the fact I feel like im 8 months behind in writing the series, im progressing at a pace that seems manageable. But at the same time, in a year, things have changed so much, and that includes the original pairing for PK and Doc. Ive mentioned it in the official tumblr but its very likely its not a permanent pairing that seems logical for the world they’re in. PK lives in 2 very separate worlds, and as such, cannot actually have it both ways. More than actually undermining Trickster and his whole thing, I think PK and Doc getting to have that double life cleanly undermines pretty much the whole story. Which sucks cuz i definitely did plan for otherwise XD, but in the end I think I have to go with how the boys need it to go. I think it’s a sign of a mature adult for PK to come to realize that even if he fights for it, going home and having Doc isnt in the cards; ironically, he cant always eat his cake and have it too.Apr 28, 2026
