I'm participating in a secret santa and while looking at the social media accounts of the person I was supposed to draw smth for I saw they're a proshipper*... 
and I was like... I don't want to draw smth for them now but I also can't just not draw anything, I'd be kicked out of the server and I've been paticipating there for years. My friend encouraged me to talk to one of the admins though I was hesitant about it bc I didn't want to cause any problems for the event, but they talked to the person who actually ended up leaving the server so good thing I brought it up :'D I got a much cooler person now
*proshipping = basically saying "let people ship what they want" which isn't bad in itself BUT also includes problematic ships (pedophilia, incest, etc), the admin asked them about it to figure out which kind of proshipper they are and since they left the server the answer seems pretty clear
Edit: hey so in case this wasn't clear, being against proshipping is NOT being against all shipping. It's being against pedophilia, incest, sexualization of minors, etc. You can ship whatever you want as long as it's not immoral. I don't care if you ship Zuko x Katara or Aang x Katara or whatever as long as it's not Sokka x Katara or Iroh x Toph or some shitDec 2, 2024

One of my good friends on Artfol is one and i was so sad when I found out cause they WERE SOO NICE AND SUPPORTIVE CAUSE IM
