OCtober #4 Punching bag ocEldur from my story The Prince and the Fire. Most of these are probably gonna be doodle, low-quality art
Said I was gonna pick from dif prompt lists, jsut doing the ones I want but still trying to fit them to the right days.
So he’s supposed to be older here like sixteen or something, in most of my art he’s still a kid but this would be later in the story when he’s become very ‘shut off’ emotionally or desensitised and i’m not sure i was able to portray the expression i wanted but he’s supposed to feel empty at this point so drew his eyes black too instead of green — and kinda thought it would be this part where he hasnt left his room for days also without eating and he is looking a bit thinner and straight up sick basically, so tried to make him look a bit rough idk <- hope ppl dont need a trigger warning for something like this, but had this scene in mind. Minor spoiler but someone dies and he shuts himself away from the others in this ‘group’ for days, not even attending the memorial service
^ i wrote these parts in 2016-2017 but keep rereading them(instead of working on the story i should..) just got a bunch of paragraphs that happens later but I have 15 chapters for the start of the story as well where he’s still a kid and last worked on it maybe two years ago? Haven’t gotten to the timeskip yet.
I think i first started this story in 2014 ?? But i’m pretty sure i wrote most of it in 2016-2017.
As mentioned i’m trying to focus on older ocs more for OCtober but this is also one of the stories i haven’t abandoned and still work on(occasionally) and make art for
I almost drew Okaro for this he’s more of a punching bag than Eld maybe or Eld has probably worse trauma but Okaro also fits better into some of the later prompts so drew Eld here to at least have him for one of the prompts
I actually find these two always ‘competing’ when it comes to me drawing these kinda prompts; they’re both the punching bag of their story and has similar family situation actually, also very different but certain key parts im starting to realise maybe i’ve used the same idea twice in two seperate stories woops (think they’re different enough but the similarities though..haha)
