As someone who’s going through it at this moment- I’d say identifying the problem is my first start- most of my art block comes from like extreme apathy from my anxiety hahahah so when it hits it hits hard and I don’t wanna draw at all-

Usually this means I’m stressing about something else, or I just need to go outside honestly haha. I find the best medicine is to get new experiences whether that be in new video games, going somewhere new, taking a walk, etc etc. I usually just try to do other creative hobbies with this so I still keep my hands creating just in a different medium C: it’s rough, but eventually it goes away and I feel a weight lifted off. Sometimes it takes starting even though it’s still kinda there to go away? It’s different every time for me lol
Doddle stuff, or maybe depending on your energy level take a break.
Art block to me feels like either an incredible lack of motivation to draw, or having the motivation to draw but nothing comes out right, or both

My go to methods for dealing with artblock is to either take as long of a break as possible in order to refresh myself to draw once I'm ready. Another method I rarely do is doodle for fun, sometimes the little things bring me back lol
Crack doodles are the best medicine

artblock for me is when I physically cannot draw, like I want to but whenever I try it’s just… yuck
I mean I just take a break. Drawing when you dont feel like it doesn't help u can just get more frustrated. Just try to draw something that u like to draw that mite help.
I just feel unmotivated
take a break, or doodle without any commitment.

artblock is usually just lack of motivation for meaha
Currently under art block 💖
But I normally try and find dta (drawtoadopts) since those always make me happy :,)
Typically it feels like extreme fatigue, loss of all motivation and generally pretty depressed and sluggish.
I normally get mad at myself because I want to be happy, I know drawing makes me happy so I tell myself I want to draw but I just can’t. So it’s like a terrible loop?

Honestly sometimes the best cure for art block is to take a break. I always am so motivated and excited to draw after a week break, do things you enjoy! Hang out outside, plant a small garden, read a book, legit anything!
It really does help just taking a small break to rejuvenate <33
It’s honestly what I’m probably gonna end up doing-
I look for challenges to do,
commissions and art trades also help ^^
Feels like whatever I draw is shit and I just feel no joy but to get out of it I usually grab an old drawing I did and redraw it again to get myself back on track
Hmm usually drawing even though it sucks tends to help for me because after a while kt turns good. But I only draw for so long that I don't turn frustrated, otherwise its pointless.

In the meantime some me time or just looking at inspirations tends to help out a lot!
Sometimes I’m just burnt out and have no ideas or motivation. It’s just a general bleh feeling and leads me to have lots of bad thoughts about my art, eg comparing it to someone else’s.

To remedy it, I normally just force myself to draw some backgrounds or do anatomy studies.
It feels like I closed a door and turning the handle is to exhausting. But I usually don't care. One day a random idea will come and open the door for me. And then there is this bright colourful room awaiting me. I learned that pressure is contraproductive and since then I feel lighter. I draw to calm down or experiment. So there is really nothing to stress about.
I do videos yes. But they are most of the time easy to make. Plus if there is no video, there is no video.
It sounds arrogant tbh but... it's my life and if I don't enjoy doing something I stop it.
For me, it’s usually a severe lack of artistic motivation and drawing ideas; I usually end up so bored that I find something else to do for the rest of the day, and that seems to help 🤷‍♀️
Honestly? Hanging out with animals. I chill at home with my cats, visit the horse I used to work with, etc. I’ve actually stopped posting here regularly because I got a seasonal job working with animals! So I don’t really have energy for art, but I’m more able to focus on it when I do.

For me art block looks like motivation but dissatisfaction with what I create. It’s super frustrating...
Art block for me is just a lack of motivation. I WANT to draw, I HAVE ideas, but I just end up sitting there like I forgot how to draw a simple line.

I fix my art blocks by not drawing. I avoid art entirely and take a break for as long as I need until the inspiration to draw comes back. I spend that "break" doing my other hobbies like playing games, watching movies, etc.
