Traditional WIP, a disaster, help!
So I tried to continue with this painting and I totally wanted a messy/ textured style and it looks sooo cool when you are close to the painting but totally awful from far away...
I guess my technique when it comes to the rendering process with real paint is not good enough yet...
I just blocked in the hair to see if I like her to have dark hair but now I don't rly like that one either.
I would appreciate any feedback around the anatomy, colouring and other things you can see.

i genuinely think this looks awesome :D for the anatomy the arm is a bit too long and the hand is too big, and we should be able to see their other foot, and the leg coming out from behind the body should be a bit shorter, like move the knee closer to the other leg and closer to the floor if that makes sense. The anatomy being a little off it probably what’s causing it to look weird from far away

The fact that it doesn’t look good far away is probably because your pose isn’t strong enough and is ignoring some basic anatomy. Her right leg for instance is on a totally different perspective from the rest of the body( looks like it’s coming out of her stomach).

Your brush strokes remind me of kinda impressionistic styles and I adore that. She’s missing one foot, that’d also add to the balance, but other than that..
I’m trying to think of smth my professor would add, but idk actually. Probs that her hand is a tad too big, but idk how to change that and if you want to. Because it overall harmonazies really lovely

•Hmmmmmm, it looks over amazing. Feedback wise the only thing in my perspective is that the shading in general might be a bit darker perhaps??? Maybe some aorund the bottom area and where she is sitting. But Other than that if looks amazing
