Emily×Emily WIP
I always wonder what the interaction would be if a much older Emily met the much younger version of herself that still believes she's human. This was born of that thought and I hope you like it!!
So in the middle of doing some accounting homework for class yesterday, I was stricken with this intense urge to draw something! Unfortunately, the only paper I had near me was lined. I might cut it out to keep in my sketchbook anyway, I don't like to lose my originals!!
If you read this far into my post, tell me what color you expect their clothes to be! What color suits them the most? I can't decide! I don't usually post works in progress since it isn't usually my style, but I feel like sharing things that are a little unfinished can be sort of nice sometimes!
I love to make sketches like this that feel like sort of complete linework. But the sketches that you DON'T see are less like linework and more like scribbled instructions on the composition and relationships. Those usually have bad proportions, shakey, janky lines, and are barely comprehensible! It's the equivalent of scribbling down something you thought was important when you were half asleep, and then struggling to read your handwriting later!! Haha
I'm going to start putting emoji faces in between my paragraphs because it's cute. I have a tendency to ramble on things that aren't necessarily related to my drawing, so I try to keep everything above the purple heart related, and then allow myself to ramble a little below that. I just have things I want to say sometimes and I feel like it's my post so I should add my thoughts. Also I have a fun time reading other peoples thoughts in their posts too!
