FreeContinuing the emotion type series, I wanted to try to draw out the feeling of freedom. I have a lot of different meanings associated with this piece because it has not always been a very positive thing for me. Overall, I used this to try to draw out the robots a bit more and experiment with a slightly more robotic design for the characters, as well as continuing the feel of a factory background.

Freedom is associated massively with blue, so I gave myself the challenge of trying to use almost only blue in this piece. But freedom in itself suggests that there is something to be free from, usually something negative. Although the lighter blues are very positive, darker blues tend to hold much more negative connotation, so I wanted to highlight this difference by making the factory that is being escaped from much darker in color than the robot or where they are going. Additionally, I used a bit of yellow on the left side just due to it being both a good lighting color and a symbol of happiness/contentment

Also fun fact the wings were not part of my original plan, I just noticed halfway through that the orientation of the plugs made them look like wings so I drew them in for fun and then decided to just leave them
