MaskHere’s the last AP art portfolio piece I have (that I’m sharing at least lol). I saved this one for last because not only was it the last one I worked on, but it is also connected to all the other pieces in the collection. Each mask represents one of the emotions/pieces that I did for the portfolio, acting like kind of a map for all the pieces. Anyways, I hope you guys enjoy it

This one I believe took me the longest because I had to do a ton of research to come up with the mask designs. I tried to make the colors fit the colors in each piece, but also searched for different symbols known to represent these different emotions. Either way, designing each mask took forever, but I’m really happy with how it turned out. I also tried to use a similar coloring technique as I did with the Disgust piece, which was a lot of fun

Since this is the last in the series, I probably won’t be uploading for a while. I still have a lot of schoolwork to do so I’ve been barely drawing at all for months, but maybe I’ll pop on the app once in a while anyway. Who knows, I might upload some of my whale sketches sometimeApr 13, 2023
