MTEV II – "An Eternal Bond"

Omg, hi! I'm back, kind of. Been quite busy since I have to take advance classes for my subjects this upcoming semester. They're really a lot, so I want to lessen the burden for my future self by going through that portion of agony this early. Anyway, I still haven't updated my fanfic (I swear, I think I'm on my 15th revision by this point) and I just finished my WIP for my MTEV collection.

For this artwork, I tried drawing the traditional kimono attire again-- but this time, I included this piece called Hakama, which are usually worn over the kimono. Again, still new to traditional pieces, so I'm still figuring out perspectives with this kinds of clothes. Beside that, I also had a hard time with the crow, mostly because I barely-- if not, never draw animals, and I just... drew him on the get—go with barely any knowledge to do so (had tons of references, but... it just ain't it). I did got the coloring right, in some way, but the anatomy still need some work, so yeah... gonna work on that one...

The background was also one thing as well. My original plan was to draw a garden background, but since I don't wanna mess it up, I just went with some simple effects (not really liking it so far, but it's tolerable)... so yeah?
