Eye JulEYE 2024 day 22: AlienI drew up Ix, a member of the glasshia alien race this time since I usually draw the girls. Males in the species are usually smaller/shorter, have thinner tentacles and have pearls on their antenna instead of their eyelashes. I based the aliens off of inklings and how some cosplayers wear wigs with cool tentacles XD its such a cool contrast of fluffy hair with slick jelly-like appendages. I like making them look transparent too.
Ix is the head chef on Djura’s ship, while his fiancé is the provisions manager and they fight all the time. XD I do like drawing him a lot in sketchbooks but rarely do colored images. Im thinking maybe also varying up the pale skin tones to include more warm lavenders and pinks or cooler light purples. Coloring the galaxy eyes is my favorite part of the aliens.Jul 22, 2024
