Phomi and Ikelia's Relationship DynamicFilling it out while creating this chart might have made it more complicated in the long run but it also made me realize that there was more I needed to add. This is both an example for others to follow as well as a little something for myself. When I created them, I didn't really have an idea what I wanted them to be as girlfriends, or even people. I've been slowly building on it and now that I've filled this out, I have a more solid understanding of their dynamic, and them as individuals.
Here are some things to note:
- Ikelia is strictly lesbian. She will never like males. She doesn't like the practice her species undertakes to create more gorgons and has developed a disgust towards men in general because of it.
- Ikelia is bad at communcation of her problems and feelings and it leaks over into other parts of her relationship. She's trying to learn from Phomi in that aspect.
- Although Phomi is the more romantic of the two, Ikelia can be more quietly thoughtful about things that Phomi might overlook. That is one of the ways they mesh well together. They make up for each other's weak spots.
- The whole reason they ended up forming a relationship was, Phomi had visited their village while traveling the world. Ikelia learned more about the world from Phomi, and eventually joined her on her journey. Then, along the way, they became girlfriends.Jun 6, 2024
