The moment I saw this challenge I KNEW I had to draw this two– and it fits the other drawings I wanted to make with the rest of the gang wearing fancy ball gowns, it's a win-win

THIS ARE MY FAVOURITE CHARACTERS OF THE STORY the one dressed in green is the god of Chaos (any pronouns, specially if they're funny in context) and the other one is Dann (she/her), his protegée :D and for the other characters I'm using their modern AU version, but this two are their canon versions bc Chaos would 100% make them wear suits just because lmao

Okey now to the characters– I LOVE THEIR DYNAMIC SO SO MUCH my main inspirations for Chaos are the gods Loki and Manannan but both my friend and I want xem to have Discord from MLP vibes because. Let's be real they did an excelent work with that character lol. And meanwhile Dann rolls with whatever shit he does and treats him like a normal person instead of a god, which creeps out the rest of the gang (they will all be pretty shocked when they discover she's besties with a god lmao) but he really apreciates it because honestly? He's pretty lonely lol so they like that Dann treats them like a friend –I do see them like her wine aunt/cool uncle lmao–

And I got permision from my bestie –the other creator– so I'm finally telling you a bit of the plot and how this two met!!!

So. A very long time ago there was a war between the gods that ended up with the god of Light imprisoned in a magical crystal by the other gods because of his crimes. And not so long ago, some miners from the Northern Lands accidentally found said crystal, and since then Light has been slowly gaining back his power and planning his escape. At the beggining of the story he has enough power to control everyone on the Northern Lands, that he managed to isolate from the rest of the world, and is using them to get what he needs to escape.

There's just one thing he didn't count on– our girl Dann. She and her parents are actually refuges that ended up on the Northern Lands running away from the war between Lightning and Fire. Her parents inmediatly fell under Light's control, but turns out Dann is actually immune to magic. So immune, in fact, that the only people capable of putting spells on her are the three most powerful gods of the pantheon– Life, Death and Chaos. And Chaos has very personal beef against Light, so the moment boo realised what was going on and that the other gods wouldn't or couldn't do anything about it, boo decided to do it booself. So he found Dann, was like "hey girl wanna get out of here?" And when she agreed he gave her his blessing– which means he gave her part of his magic (making her the first human in history with magic of chaos!) And now he follows her around making sure she doesn't die before they get to defeat Light.

And Dann spent almost all her life pretending to be mind controled and surrounded by people who actually were, so she has no idea how relationships or the world around her actually work. So Chaos also helps her with that akdjfkkg he's a mentor figure but with drugs /j
And my friend and I also like to joke saying that Dann can't recognise dogs as dogs unless they look similar to huskies lmao


So yeah, they have the best dynamic ever and I love them <# I'm just terrified of people shipping them because I know ship culture and I KNOW it will probably happen, but this two would have such a power imbalance if they were in a relationship and Dann is aroace (Chaos too, probably) and she's 20 and he's OLDER THAN THE WORLD ITSELF I can't be the only one that finds that creepy aldjkflgkg
