Your IdolMy bestie and I watched KPDH together and when we reached Your Idol we were like "omgs it's literally Light" and then Rumi interrupted and on her convo with Gwi-Ma we were like "LITERALLY DANN AND LIGHT!!!!" So OBVIOUSLY I had to redraw one of the iconic Your Idol poses with Light himself 
(and also ended up with an au animatic of Dann defeating Light with What It Sounds Like bc she has the powers of chaos if she wants to defeat someone with the power of music she can!!!)
Anyways introducing the villain of Chaos and Dann's story :) and how my bestie always calls it, his iconic shit eating grin. His design was a PAIN IN THE ASS so it's no wonder this is the first drawing of him I ever post lmao
So!! Light is, of course, the evil god they have to stop. I usually say that if he fell from his own ego he'd die of starvation before reaching the ground, and I think that's all you need to know about his character lmao. I'd say he hates everyone equally, but that would be a lie– he has a special hatred for Chaos specifically, and it's totally mutual lmao. That's why, when Chaos noticed Light was trying to escape his prison, xe inmediatly broke xir own rule of no intervention and decided to stop him xemself (xe says it's bc "It wouldnt be very chaotic if I always did the same, right?" But it's absolutely bc xe wants to beat Light up again lmao)
Light also has a special hatred for Dann specifically, while Dann is like "please just leave me alone already
" cause, well. According to Light, humans only exist to worship the gods (unlike the other gods, who see their respective nations as their people they protect and care about). Humans are tools, a means to an end. And Dann... Well, Dann is completely inmune to Light's magic :) Magic intolerance isn't unheard of, but Dann's level is. The only people that can use magic on her are the three more powerful beings of their world: Chaos, Life and Death themselves. And you best believe that pisses Light to levels no one even knew posible lmao. Bc what do you MEAN this random human is inmune to magic. What do you MEAN I can't control her. Are you even implying a STUPID HUMAN could be stronger than me?????? So he wants her dead and he wants her dead yesterday. Meanwhile Dann is all "sir I don't know who you are please leave me alone "
And as of what crime did Light commit to be imprisoned and for Chaos to hate him so much... Well, i'll just say there's two songs named Brutus on his playlist :) (the iconic one by the Buttress and one by Em Beihold!!)Apr 6, 2026
