My new favourite gays <#Kinda messy but i've been having some rough days and drawing them made me feel better <# and i've had these scenes in my head for so long I just!!! Finally drawing them feels so satisfying 
They're my wolf shifters <# the guy with curly hair/the wolf is Gabriel (he/him) and the person with black hair is my baby Obsidian (they/them)
That wolf petting is an actual scene of the story and I love it so much Basicly Gabriel and his bestie Alex visit Obsidian's town during the summer solstice celebrations, very heavily inspired by the way we celebrate the summer solstice -aka la noche de San Juan- here in Spain!! The main thing is that we make giant bonfires where you burn a paper with the things you want to leave behind written on it (I once burnt a school paper I hated lmao), and then you jump the fire for good luck!! I did it for the first time last year and It was really fun :D
These people are wolf shifters tho, and their wolf forms are bigger than your average wolf, so they jump the fire while it's big (irl we jump the fire when it's almost out, not the actual giant fire lol). Obsidian doesn't participate because they're physically disabled so it just. Isn't safe for them. But Gabriel is a bit of an adrenaline yunkie and jumping fire is totally something he would do. So he does and then comes back with Obsidian and puts his head on their lap to get some pets <# the whole summer solstice is when they actually get close and i just ugh i love them so much might digitalise that sketch and turn it into a finished illustration!! I have a lot of things on my to do list first tho, so we'll see. But a night scene with some fire light sounds really fun to color :D and I really do like how the sketch looksMay 24, 2025
